Yes, the first two songs on side A of the vinyl are easy contenders for a potential “greatest hits” compilation from the band, then things take a turn for the… different. My prediction, after listening to Polysomn about 100 times, is that they’re moving away from this style. We are treated to several spatters of that legacy sound on several of the tracks on here, just not all of them. One of the Kairon IRSE! staples that I often enjoy is the fuzzed-out, almost brickwalled guitar tones that wouldn’t feel out of place on a stoner rock album. Well, there’s a reason, and we’ll eventually get to that. “Why did you tease us?” you’ll be screaming at your turntable. And should we be worried?” But after the first minute passes you’ll feel right at home as there’s an immediate (but not jarring) shift into a song that could easily fit into either of their previous releases. First and foremost you’ll be thinking, “this is an odd new take on their signature sound. How does Polysomn stack up against their previous releases? And will somebody new to Kairon IRSE! enjoy their Junior release? I have the answers, dear reader.įrom the moment you hit play on the first track of this album, you will experience a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s been several months since the album’s release and because I am a master procrastinator, it is time to finally review it. Several years ago I forced you all to check out a terrific band from Finland that incorporates elements of progressive rock, psychedelia, and stoner rock: Kairon IRSE! In the time since then they had skyrocketed into one of my top 10 bands of all time and I was able to obtain the vinyl release of both of their previous full-length albums… and then in 2020 they announced a third, called Polysomn, whose vinyl I also ordered from our friends at Svart Records.

You need to see how the object of your affections will jive with your everyday environment-and how much they’ll appreciate your gourmet-level kitchen skills, your elegant décor, and your collection of tasteful films.Ĭuddling is foreplay for your sensual sign, and you are especially gifted at the art of touch. That said, you don’t wait TOO long for a home visit. You woo at a prolonged pace and don’t want to miss out on a single courtship ritual. Let the slow jams pipe softly through your speakers and the vintage Pinot breathe alongside a pair of glasses on your counter. (Libra is the other.) If you were born with this Venus placement, consider yourself lucky! You’re one of Cupid’s darlings and, whether you care to admit it or not, a hopeless romantic to the core. The planet of love and beauty is literally at home (domicile) in decadent Taurus, one of the two zodiac signs Venus rules. Jealousy can be a troubling issue in your relationships. Easy does it with the double standards, though! While you may require room to roam-or at least, let your eyes rove-you want a mate who is obsessively into you. For best results, allow yourself to experience the full-on bachelor(ette) lifestyle before you settle down. This liberated (and sometimes fickle) Venus sign might even make it hard for you to attach to one partner. You might install mirrors on the ceiling or, with consenting partners, build up a private video collection of your greatest moves. Some Venus in Aries people are full-on exhibitionists. In bed-or wherever you set the scene for your romps, which could be daringly public!-you love to be admired. As such, you may have to sift through a few more twists and turns than most before you figure out Cupid’s formula for success. Venus is "in detriment" in Aries, which is a somewhat challenging position because Aries is opposite the sign, Libra, that the love planet rules. While your book of love may be filled with steamy and half-finished chapters, at least it won’t be boring! Just try not to write people off SO quickly that they don’t have a fair shake. Nope, you’ll be off with an adventurous playmate exploring new positions and locations. They may cry with a clairvoyant or burn a Love Drawing candle, but it’s unlikely you’ll return. You want to know NOW: Are you into me or not? A lover who drags out the courtship process will likely get a taste of your extreme ghosting powers. If the click is there, you’ll jump right in, ready to race off on a romantic escape…or to the Vegas chapel! But wait…who IS that person with whom you’re so smitten? Pacing yourself is an art form to learn.Īlas, patience is NOT a virtue for those with Venus in Aries. Love at first sight is all too real for you-and you’ve probably fallen head over heels in a nanosecond more than once. If you were born with Venus in assertive Aries, you are a fiery and passionate lover who won’t settle for less than an all-encompassing attraction. Turbo Duels are later combined with Action Duels via the Field Spell Card " Crossover Acceleration" where Action Cards are placed at specific points on the track to be obtained.Įxamples Anime The first Duel Runner made by Yusei Fudo. A new Field Spell Card, " Speed World Neo", is also introduced but it does not possess any kind of unique effects such as Speed Counters and the exclusive use of Speed Spell Cards. In Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V, Duel Runners are reintroduced into the series with the introduction of Yugo, a Synchro Duelist who resembles Yuya Sakaki. Season 2 introduces Duel Boards, customized skateboards built to allow children to participate in Turbo Duels. This allows a Duelist to use the same Duel Disk in both Ground and Turbo Duels. These Runners allow a Duel Disk to be attached to them, rather than have the Duel Disk connected directly to the interface. Sector Security is capable of forcibly activating the "Speed World" cards of other Duelists in order to force them into Turbo Duels.Ĭertain Duel Runners are known as "hybrid models". This card's activation automatically activates the Runner's Duel Disk. Furthermore, all other information irrelevant to the Duel can be switched off. If this card is activated then the Duel screen on the Runner will appear. In each Duel Runner, there are two specific cards integrated: the Field Spell Cards " Speed World" and " Speed World 2". In addition, other equipment like the helmet visor serves to display various information, such as the stats of a monster. It can approach speeds of up to 220 kilometers (136.62 miles) per hour during a Turbo Duel. They are equipped with a screen which shows Duel details such a the current field and Life Points. In Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Duel Runners were introduced by KaibaCorp as unique Duel Disks which are used for Turbo Duels. In the end, you’ll want to check out what value for money the manager provides. Plus, it’s always a good sign if the manager’s user interface (UI) is intuitive and simple to use. On top of this, you want to make sure that the password manager provider offers some level of customer support. In addition to all this, you should check what platforms it supports, where is vault storage located (is it stored locally, on your device, or in the cloud), whether it can be synced across all your devices, can you securely share your data, and can the software automatically save and fill forms. Some of these security features could (and should) include 2FA, multi-factor authentication (MFA), biometric logins, a “zero-knowledge” policy, and a password recovery option. So, look for end-to-end encryption (256-bit AES is a standard today), and up-to-date security features. When picking out a password manager for yourself, your family, or your business, the first thing you should consider is the level of security it can offer. While most popular password managers come as proprietary, close-sourced, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions, there are also a couple of free, open-source alternatives on the market. That is, using biometric data (such as fingerprints, facial patterns, or voice) to verify who you are and thus unlock your data. In addition to passwords, with most password managers you can also store credit card details, secure notes, and other types of sensitive information.Īll this information is often locked behind a master password but some password managers also support biometric authentication. In simplest terms, a password manager is a software that helps you generate strong passwords and lets you store them in a secure location. Now let’s cover some basics before examining the best password managers from above in more detail. If one password manager works best for most users, it doesn’t mean it will work wonders for you – and vice versa.īefore we go into more details, this table highlights our top picks for the best password managers: While a password manager is something you should invest in, there’s no one-size-fits-all sort of solution. Plus, it’ll be securely stored on the company’s servers. And all of it will be encrypted, backed by two-factor authentication (2FA) and “zero-knowledge” architecture. Instead of remembering all of them, you can keep them safe and secure behind a single master password – and you’ll be the only person who knows it.Īlso, most password managers can automatically fill in forms for you such as login credentials, credit card details, and other sensitive data. The best password managers will generate strong, complex passwords for you and they’ll do it in no time. Using strong passwords plays a critical part of protecting your personal information from a series of cyber threats. You could also choose the easy path and use a couple of catchy, simple-to-remember passwords for everything, but that’s truly a terrible idea in terms of security.Īccording to a cybersecurity study conducted by Verizon, a staggering 82% of hacking-related breaches involve an element of human error such as stolen or poor passwords. This won’t only strengthen your security, but also save you the time and trouble you would otherwise spend on thinking up and remembering tons of long, complex passwords. If you want to give a big boost to your online security, you’ll want to empower yourself with one of the best password managers available today. When we select the first option the camera’s first picture will be at the focus point we selected, and then it will pull the focus closer for the next shot and then push it further away for the third. Sequence – By default the sequence is set to 0/-/+, but we can chose 0/+ if we prefer. Fortunately Panasonic has a function in its newer models that is a great help in creating the images needed to feed into focus stacking software – it’s focus bracketing. Computers tend to have greater processing power than cameras, and so can deal with much more complex and intensive tasks so we can choose to shoot in Raw or JPEG formats as we prefer. The downside for some of the in-camera mode is that it produces only a JPEG that has limited manipulation possibilities after the event, and that the system finds it hard to cope with extreme situations.Īn alternative to using the in-camera stacking mode is to shoot a series of images with different focus positions which are then loaded into focus stacking software. It is a useful feature, and with the JPEG colour and contrast controls Lumix cameras offer, it is highly flexible if you take the time to make the most of your settings so that post-capture manipulation can be minimised – or avoided. This feature is accessed via the Post Focus mode, and comes in 4K and/or 6K varieties according to the camera you are using. The only dependency is OpenCV, 3.All current Lumix G models offer an in-camera focus stacking mode that is easy to use and which avoids the need for post-capture software when we want to extend or control our depth-of-field. Promising roads that lead to dead ends, so the only thing we can do is turn around and seek more roads. Anyways, both Persona 2: Another Self and Cross Road are incredibly promising trailers for concepts that will almost surely never be expanded on and made into animes. Soon, though, a rumor that Sevens’ emblem was actually cursed, and that wearing it would disfigure one’s face, had spread around the city. What part of Innocent Sin are you at If you want I can give you a non-spoilery explanation to what has happened/happening. The highlights of Innocent Sin's story is the character growth each party member goes through during the last 3/4 dungeons in the game. Its protagonist attends Seven Sisters High School, whose emblem is considered a status symbol, even amongst other schools. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is more of a setup to the events of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. If you haven't seen Cross Road, it's only 2 minutes long, so you might as well go see it right now. Download The story takes place in Sumaru City, Japan. So Persona 2's fate is a lot like Cross Road. Still, I would have put this all aside if Atlus made an actual product. The animation quality of this trailer was pretty poor and the art was pretty generic 90's fare, and the whole thing looked almost campy. Imagine a 12-episode OVA, 6 to Innocent Sin and 6 to Eternal Punishment. With only a trailer, there's a lot of space to think about what could've been. The game was re-released in 2011 for the PlayStation Portable. It is the second entry in the Persona series, itself a subseries of the Megami Tensei franchise, and acts as a sequel to the original Persona. Despite Persona 3 and 4 getting animes and movies, nothing ever became of this Persona 2 anime. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is a 1999 role-playing video game by Atlus for the PlayStation. It wouldn't release for Europe and North America until 2011 on the. With the success of Persona 3 and 4 and whatnot, Atlus has kind of left Persona 2 in the dark. Persona 2: Innocent Sin, the second of the Shin Megami Tensei sub-franchise, released back in 1999 exclusively in Japan. If the Persona 3 Remake rumours are true, do you guys think theyll bring back Vic as Junpei, considering hes back to dubbing anime with Anime Matsuri theres a slight chance they might, or maybe theyd do a FF7R move and recast everyone. The central mysteries and antagonists are established, all the important characters get shown, and it ends on a cliffhanger, so as far as trailers go, everything It plays out like a trailer for an anime adaptation of the duology. This 6 minute video was included in the box of the Japanese release of Eternal Punishment. Its story is top notch, its characters lovable, and its gameplay not bogged down with dating sim elements. Persona 2: Innocent Sin is one of my favorite video games ever, and its companion, Eternal Punishment, isn't far behind. In August 2005, San Francisco office opened. Zipcar common stock traded on NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "ZIP" until it was acquired by Avis in 2013. In the third quarter of 2007, Zipcar merged with Seattle-based rival Flexcar to create a nationwide car rental company. Members can also use Zipcar's app to search, book and locate a Zipcar by honking its horn, extend, end and cancel a reservation. Some users need to have several services and websites available at once even if they aren’t being used at that exact moment, which is especially the case for those who work remotely. Fortunately, Vivaldi users have the option to hibernate inactive tabs in order to consume fewer resources without actually closing the tabs. Vivaldi was overall slower than Brave and Chrome, but it uses less RAM than Brave and Firefox at low and high loads. We were able to browse the internet with several tabs open at once, send emails and watch HD videos without any noticeable latency at all. Vivaldi was one of the slower browsers among these, but not the slowest.Įven though it received a lower score than most of these browsers, in practice Vivaldi is still one of the fastest browsers. We sent Vivaldi through three speed tests alongside Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Brave and Opera. Having Wikipedia or a search engine available in the side panel is a useful tool to have on hand to quickly reference something without navigating away from your active tab. The side panel acts as a window within a window when you use it to access another website. The Vivaldi mail client supports IMAP and POP3 so you can integrate almost any email provider in the browser and manage mail from multiple accounts at once. This is where you can integrate your calendar, feeds, contacts and mail client into your browser. The side panel features several buttons, starting with bookmarks, followed by your browsing history, notes, window info, Vivaldi help resources, a Wikipedia button and the option to add another website to the panel for quick access. You can also change its position or widen it enough to see the details of its several menus. Most of the browser’s menus and gadgets are filed away in the side panel on the left side of the screen, which you can keep out of view entirely. Vivaldi contains a lot of in-browser features without overwhelming the user with an excess of graphic elements. Speed dial also lets you add your own websites for easy access. The start page on both desktop and mobile contains a set of popular websites under the heading “speed dial.” Each speed dial website leads to some of the most-visited sites on the internet including YouTube, Amazon, Disney+ and many others so you can quickly reach your destination. The browser can be used with or without signing in to your account, but staying signed in will let you keep your unique setup separate from other users if you’re using a shared device. Vivaldi is based on Chromium and works somewhat like Chrome, but much of its functionality and appearance departs from Chrome itself. It’s available for Windows, macOS, Linux and Android, but not iOS (it’s one of the best browsers for Mac). Vivaldi manages to keep a clean interface despite the large number of tools and features stowed away under the hood. Vivaldi is based on Google’s open-source framework Chromium, as most web browsers are in this day and age, but Vivaldi departs substantially from Chrome in several ways, as we’ll see throughout this review. Nevertheless, most Chrome extensions will work with the browser if you still need additional capabilities. In fact, the underlying philosophy of Vivaldi is based on already having enough tools that you shouldn’t need to download any extensions at all. The Vivaldi browser not only has abundant features right out of the box, but its customizable nature makes it flexible enough for almost any user’s needs, whether for personal or professional use. Vivaldi is a Chromium-based browser and will therefore work with most extensions in the Chrome web store.Vivaldi collects little data on its users and doesn’t sell the data it does collect to third parties. The Vivaldi web browser is intended to be a customizable and fully featured browser that doesn’t need extensions. It’s flexible, customizable and better about privacy than most major browsers, so there’s a lot to cover in our Vivaldi review. The result is Vivaldi, a versatile and feature-rich web browser made to be as customizable as possible. It’s a complicated bouquet of bitter and sweet. in her kitchen, as mine did, alongside one of Pope John Paul II - this stylish, sexy, nostalgic story will linger like Jackie’s signature scent of Pall Malls and Chateau Krigler 12. But it was such a voyeuristic pleasure to be a fly on the wall (or windshield), and Bayard is such an exuberant storyteller, I was happy to set aside my disbelief.Įven if you’re not a Kennedy enthusiast - even if your grandmother didn’t have a framed picture of J.F.K. There are moments in “Jackie & Me” when I found myself wondering how Lem could have known what Jack and Jackie said to each other when they were alone in a guest room or the back seat of his car. And he may be just the tiniest bit jealous of their future. To whom does he owe a greater debt of honesty - Jack, who has embraced him like a brother but asks too much as a go-between or Jackie, a kindred spirit whose options are as limited as Lem’s, thanks to the corset-tight constrictions of the era? Of course, Jackie may not want to hear what Lem has to say about the realities of being close to Jack. But the real star of this story is Lem, who is caught in the gravitational pull between an old friend and a new one. What a pleasure it is to see Jackie snapping pictures for her newspaper column, featuring strangers’ answers to questions like “If you were put in solitary confinement and could only take one book, what would it be?” Her queries evolve along with her relationship - for instance, “Should engaged couples reveal their past?”īayard shows how Jackie gamely shouldered Jack’s boisterous family, stratospheric ambitions, health problems and dalliances. Through his eyes, we get to know her as a witty, opinionated, driven young woman, the starry-eyed precursor to the stylish first lady and tragic veiled widow who will supplant her in the popular imagination. Lem is protective of Jackie, attentive in a way Jack is not. Eventually they venture to the Kennedy homestead in Hyannisport, where they endure endless rounds of charades and games of football. On Sunday afternoons, we see Lem and Jackie strolling around Dumbarton Oaks or the Smithsonian. The two outsiders hit it off, and Jack depends on his nonthreatening friend to entertain Jackie while he lays the groundwork for a political career. His first impression is prescient: When he sees her standing outside Merrywood, her grand childhood home, he thinks, “She doesn’t look like she belongs there any more than I do.” Lem meets the young Jackie Bouvier in 1952, when he accompanies Kennedy - by then an ambitious congressman - to pick her up for a gathering at Bobby and Ethel Kennedy’s house. The year is 1981, and the woman is Lem’s old friend Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis he hasn’t seen her in six years. “I’m embarrassed to say that at the sight of her I did what every New Yorker does,” Lem tells us. Our narrator, Lem Billings, is in the East Village when he spots a familiar figure sauntering down Avenue A in a linen skirt, a black blouse and Nina Ricci sunglasses.
